For those who don't know, I'll be running the Country Music Marathon in April. 26.2 miles of pure madness. But I'm doing it for a wonderful cause. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society offers a great program to help train individuals to run while we raise money for the fight against cancer.
So what does this have to do with my birthday? Well, I've got $761 raised so far (huge thanks to those who have already donated!), and I'm wanting to double that by my birthday, January 15. I can't think of a better gift than knowing that my friends not only support me in running this marathon, but also want to help fund research to cure horrible diseases.
